Millenium Hilton Hotel is situated in the Financial District in downtown Manhattan, New York City. The World Financial Center and Wall Street are less than six blocks from the hotel, La Guardia Airport is just 15 miles away and the hotel is within 10 blocks of South Street Seaport, Battery Park and Greenwich Village, SoHo and Tribeca. The southeast corner of Fulton Street and Church Street (number 55), the exact location of the hotel, is the site adjacent to the Ground Zero, the place where once World Trade Centre stood. During the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 the hotel suffered severe damage and had to be reconstructed.

The hotel’s developer Peter Kalikow spent $200 million to build the hotel, but soon after it was opened in 1992, he went into bankruptcy. CDL Hotels bought the hotel for only $75 million. At this time, Hilton began managing the property.

The hotel is 55 floors tall. It is slender tall construction covered with black glass. There is rosewood paneled and stone accented lobby. To other hotel facilities belongs indoor heated pool, fitness centre and sauna, or spa. The business centre is certainty. In hotel’s restaurant Church & Dey seafood and regional American cuisine are served. There is also a bar right in the hotel.

Millenium Hilton Hotel has 569 unites, 471 of them are guestrooms and 98 suites. Wood (teak and maple) was used in furnishing guestrooms; all of them are furnished in natural colours. Guestrooms also feature high speed Internet access, complimentary weekday newspapers, 42 inch plasma televisions, in room safes and large desks and many more.
