Time Warner Centre is located on 10 Columbus Circle in Midtown Manhattan. It was the first mayor building completed in New York after September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, although it had already been under construction at that time. The Twin-towers are very similar to the World Trade Centre towers but according to the developers, all the similarity is unintentional.

Time Warner Centre is 229 metre (750 feet) tall and it has 55 floors. The construction started in 2000 and was completed in 2003. The architects of the skyscraper became David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. The developers were the Related Companies. The complex has an interesting geometry derived from its site. Its front is concaved onto the curve of Columbus Circle. The twin towers are shaped as parallelograms, with shorter sides aligned with the streets in the Manhattan grid and longer sides with Broadway grid.

This twin-towered multi-use complex houses AOL Time Warner World Headquarters, a 250-room/suite luxury hotel – the Mandarin Oriental, The Shops at Columbus Circle, shopping mall located in a curving arcade at the base of the building, 225 luxury apartments, as well as CNN live broadcast production studios and a 12,500 square metres concert hall for the use of Jazz at Lincoln Center.
