One Penn Plaza

One Penn Plaza is a large office building covering one whole block in Manhattan, New York City; between 7th and 8th Avenues and West 33rd and 34th Streets. It is 229 metres (750 feet) tall and it has 57 floors, what makes the building 114th tallest in the world. One Penn Plaza is owned by Vornado Reality Trust.

The architect of the building became Kahn & Jacob. The construction was finished in 1972. Materials used for the building were structural steel and concrete. The façade of the building is a curtain wall of steel and grey solar glass with columns of aluminum. The tower has several setbacks, on 7th, 12th and 55th floors. There are 14 entrances to the building, subterranean parking and direct access to Pennsylvania Station.
